Arianna
taught piano, voice and Musical Theatre at the Calderone School of

, Backstage Music Network and The Kravis Center for Performing

, and the Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble in
Pennsylvania
. She was the Musical
Theatre Instructor of WYACT (Westfield Young Actor’s Cooperative
Theatre) in NJ and taught a singing class to Drama Majors at a
performing arts high school in
Somerset
County
. She ran the Cabaret Room at the Russian Tea Room and was the
chairperson of the Teacher Training Program of Music for People,
Inc.
Ms.
Rose was an Adjunct Instructor in the Department of Theatre and
Dance of Bucknell University, and has taught singing and musical
theatre classes to children and adults at the
Bloomsburg
University

She
was the co-founder and member of the women’s acappella group
Anam Cara, and the week-long Singing workshop “Sounding the
Well”. She offers
Heartspace Music Playshops, structured improvised instrumental and
vocal music sessions which develop and explore creative expression
through sound.
Arianna
holds a B.A. in Theatre/Concentration in Music from
Bucknell
University
and an instructor certification from Music for People, Inc.
She is a graduate of the Eugene O’Neill Theatre Center
Cabaret Symposium; interned at the Theatre Royal, Stratford East,
London
England
with a Theatre-in-Education program; and was an apprentice at the
prestigious Williamstown Theatre Festival.
She
is a lyricist, vocal arranger and playwright.
She was commissioned by Bucknell University Association of
the Arts to write a musical for their students and has written
many theatre and popular songs.
Arianna studied voice and ensemble singing with Patti
Cathcart of Tuck and Patti, Susan Osborne, and Ysaye Barnwell of
Sweet Honey in the Rock; ‘Acting the Song’ with composer Craig
Carnelia; ‘Gospel Singing’ with Deborah Rae Thomson; Drumming
with Babatunde Olatunje, Layne Redmond and Randy Crafton;
‘Auditioning for Musical Theatre’ with Fred Silver; music
improvisation with David Darling and Paul Horn, and many other
classes geared towards teaching and performance.
