Alison Loeb
writes songs for musical theatre and for cabaret.
Her quirky
"one-person" song-stories have been sung from
New York City
to
Los Angeles, with many stops in between.
A former
professional singer, Ms. Loeb has studied opera, lieder, jazz and
world music. She has toured
Europe
with numerous a cappella singing
groups, and has sung with the Tanglewood Festival Chorus in
Boston
and at Tanglewood (Seiji Ozawa,
Michael Tippett and John Williams, conductors).
A member of
the BMI Musical Theatre Workshop and a past Cabaret Fellow at the
prestigious O'Neill Theatre in
Connecticut, Ms. Loeb is a freelance writer
in New York.
She currently
works with the critically-acclaimed New York Festival of Song. |
