Johannes Glück (alternate spelling: Johannes Glueck), *1975

is a writer, composer and performer, originally from Vienna, Austria.

 

He is a Musical Theatre graduate of the Konservatorium Wien Privatuniversität.

 

Johannes writes book, lyrics and music for musical theatre and all sort of cabaret and comedy and has been performing as actor and singer in plays, musicals and operas.

 

His writing credits include:

 

"Krawutzi Kaputzi! - Strengstes Jugendverbot" (book, music & lyrics).

The show ran from 2006-2009 at Kabarett Simpl and Palais Nowak in Vienna.

 

Sketches and songs for the Kabarett Simpl comedy revues "Tschüss - Das war der ORF!", "Ein großes Gwirks", "Kein schöner Land", "Zwischen allen Stühlen", "Welttag der Nudelsuppe", "Sonne - Sex - Sensationen" und "Zeit der Dummheit" and for "Encyclopaedia Niavaranica", "Steinböcks Bananensplitter", "Killerkipferl 2", und "Forbidden Musicals".

 

"Das Dingsbums das man Liebe nennt" (Operetta), produced in Vienna in 1996 & 97

 

"Das Greingold" (Musical Comedy), produced in Grein and Vienna in 2002 and 2007.

 

Book & lyrics for the authorized German version of "Once on This Island" (Ahrens & Flaherty).

 

 

Johannes is an alumnus of the GEMA Celle Workshop for lyricists ("Celler Schule")

the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop, NYC, 

and he has worked with RIMT, raw impressions musical theatre.

 

Johannes Glück is a member of AKM, the Austrian Performing Rights Society, and the Dramatists Guild of America.
